I love good documentaries. The subject documentary is about elderly patients with dementia. They are virtually devoid of their memories of their lives, the people they’ve loved and the rich tapestry of their life’s experience.
Some people in these circumstances are transformed by listening to music from their past. The music, in many cases, seems to restore their sense of self and their memories of the life they’ve lived.
My attempts to summarize this documentary are woefully inadequate. I recommend the subjet documentary … It is well done and brings to light some issues surrounding the facts.
